Start of the project for the design and installation of three cogeneration plants in the city of Bila Tserkva

LLC “TEPLO-KOMUN SERVICE” won the tender and began implementing the project for the design and installation of three cogeneration units in the city of Bila Tserkva, the machines are being transferred to the Bila Tserkva community under the USAID support program, which provided for the supply of 69 cogeneration units to Ukraine as assistance for 23 district heating utilities by 2023.

In partnership with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the National Commission for the Promotion of Energy and Utilities, USAID is implementing a program to deploy small and medium-capacity cogeneration and is assisting in implementing legal reforms aimed at technical optimization and environmental sustainability of centralized.

Assistance is provided within the framework of the USAID Energy Security Project (ESP). The cooperation is part of the activities within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the USAID PEB (Energy Security Project) and the Ministry of Reconstruction, signed in November 2023. The agreement provided for funding in the amount of $ 25 million, and in 2024, USAID promised to provide the Fund with an additional $ 50 million.
