Condensing heat recovery units FGR “RIKS” “gas-gas”
The series of FGR “RIKS” heat exchangers is a line of highly efficient heat exchangers of the “gas-gas” type on the basis of ” superheat-conducting ” elements – heat pipes for the utilization of the heat of exhaust flows from fuel and energy-using equipment. The main characteristics of heat exchangers that are manufactured as air heaters for steam boilers, water heating boilers, and drying units are as follows:
– temperature range of hot gases at the entrance 100÷420 o C ;
– the range of heat flows that are utilized, 10÷3500 kW;
– compactness and material capacity – up to 300 kW/m 3 and up to 3 kg/kW.
The use of heat pipe technology in the construction of FGR “RIKS” heat pipe ” in combination with the “E- Fin – pipe” technology allows to achieve the highest technical and technological indicators in the field of heat exchange equipment.
– Heat recovery devices provide a 5-10 % increase in the energy efficiency of equipment and a reduction in harmful emissions and heat pollution of the environment. For natural gas-fired industrial boilers, heat exchangers provide a reduction in gas consumption by 5-8 m3 per 1 ton of steam (for steam boilers) and by 6-12 m3 per 1 Gcal of thermal energy produced (for water-heating boilers). For industrial furnaces, heat generators, drying plants, heat recovery devices ensure the return and use of 30-60 % of the emitted thermal energy.
– The mass and size characteristics of heat exchangers are significantly smaller than those of heat exchangers of traditional types.
– Relatively small aerodynamic resistance of heat-utilizers allows, when equipment is equipped with them, to use regular traction machines .
– The developed heat exchangers-utilizers are characterized by high reliability and stability of characteristics in conditions of long-term operation.
Since 1988, the developed heat exchangers-utilizers have been successfully operated on various fuel and energy-using capacities:

additional tail heat exchangers, which ensure the return of heat with hot ducted air or with heated feed water, which leads to an increase in boiler efficiency by up to 68 % with a slight increase in the mass and dimensions of the boiler installation as a whole;
2) heat exchangers that replace regular air heaters or water economizers, which leads to a significant total technical and economic effect from the reduction of capital costs (for the purchase and installation of equipment) and from the reduction of operating costs (for fuel, electricity and maintenance);
3) heat exchangers for obtaining heated air, water or other heat carriers used in other technological processes.
The payback period for the implementation of the RIKS FGR is usually 1.5 to 2 years.
