HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR FGR “RIKS” “GAS-STEAM”
The series of FGR “RIKS” heat recovery units is a line of highly efficient heat exchangers of the “gas-steam” type based on “superheat-conducting ” elements – heat pipes for the heat recovery of exhaust flows from fuel and energy-using equipment. The main characteristics of heat exchangers that are manufactured as technological steam generators are as follows:
- temperature range of hot gases at the entrance 100÷500 °C ;
- the range of heat flows that are utilized, 10÷3500 kW;
- compactness and material capacity – up to 300 kW/m3 and up to 3 kg/kW.
Appointment
It is intended for the conversion of water into steam by using the heat of waste gases of fuel-using equipment of small and medium power.
The steam generator-heat recovery unit of flue gases is effectively used in various branches of the national economy that have technological processes using steam. Steam generators of this type are installed at food and agricultural enterprises, they are in demand in construction and production of building materials, in the oil and gas industry, in woodworking, cardboard and paper production.

Characteristics
FGR “RIKS” steam generator-heat recovery units are made of different power, with characteristics:
- power (utilized heat flow) 70-700 KW;
- steam productivity of 100-1000 kg/h;
- working steam pressure 0.05-0.5 MPa;
- steam temperature 100-110 °C ;
- maximum flue gas temperature:
- at the inlet- 500 °C ;
- at the outlet – 110-230 °C;
- gas resistance 200-1500 Pa;
- output gas consumption 1.3-4.4 nm3/s;
- the temperature of the nutrient water is 10-100 °C .
Design features
The use of heat pipe technology in the construction of FGR “RIKS” heat pipe “in combination with the “E-Fin – pipe” technology allows to achieve the highest technical and technological indicators in the field of heat exchange equipment.
This series of heat recovery boilers does not require special brickwork and is characterized by high gas tightness, ease of maintenance, reduced requirements for feed water, compactness, reliability and stability of indicators under conditions of long-term work. The use of a block design facilitates installation and increases maintainability.

The heat exchangers are made of high-strength steel and are able to work at the temperature of the outgoing gases, up to 500 °C. Depending on the request and operating parameters, the heat exchangers can be made of both carbon and stainless steel.
The design of the evaporative part of the steam generator-heat recovery unit is made with natural water circulation.
FGR “RIKS” Made as a separate module which is supplied with a high degree of factory readiness. In this module, it is possible to place steam and water-heating wastegates together with auxiliary equipment.
Complete set
FGR “RIKS” steam heat recovery unit are supplied complete with the following accessories:
- steam valve at the output of the steam generator;
- a set of fittings for the drainage circuit;
- a set of fittings of the feeding circuit;
- two direct action level indicators with flanged connections;
- with drain and cut-off taps;
- two safety spring valves;
- pressure gauge;
- pressure sensor;
- automatic water level control group;
- thermal insulation;
- connecting gas ducts and gas bypass block;
- systems of constant and periodic blowing;
- ACS control cabinet.
To increase efficiency, waste disposal units can be equipped with economizers for heating feed or mains water, dry or condensation type.
